The RETScreen International Clean Energy Project Analysis Software is a unique decision support tool developed with the contribution of numerous experts from government, industry, and academia. The software, provided free-of-charge, can be used world-wide to evaluate the energy production, life-cycle costs and greenhouse gas emission reductions for various types of energy efficient and renewable energy technologies (RETs). The software also includes product, cost and weather databases; and a detailed user manual.
Software and Data Requirements: Microsoft® Excel 2003 or higher; Microsoft® Windows 2000 or higher; and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher. Please make sure that the latest updates from Microsoft (www.microsoft.com) for Windows and Excel are installed on your computer.
Online User Manual and Engineering Textbook Requirements: Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 or higher. To access the Portable Document Format (PDF) version you must have a PDF reader installed. If you do not already have such a reader, there are numerous PDF readers available for free download or for purchase on the Internet:
