Electricity rate - monthly
The Electricity rate - monthly tool is used to determine the average electricity rate for the base case, based on information from a monthly electricity bill.
The user enters monthly values for electricity use for up to four different rate periods, the peak load for the month, the monthly fixed charge and the total electricity cost for the month. The model then calculates the average load for each month, the system peak electricity load over maximum monthly average, the annual peak load, the annual electricity use, and the base case electricity rate. These values can then be used in the "Base case load characteristics" section of the Load & Network worksheet or in the Energy Model worksheet to help the user complete the analysis.
