The Hydro formula costing method estimates small hydro project costs using formulae derived from the costs of numerous completed small hydro projects. This tool is a companion tool for the Cost Analysis worksheet for hydro projects.

Note: After completing the input cells in this tool, the user should return to the Cost Analysis worksheet to enter major cost items summarized at the bottom of this tool. Some of the specific project costs calculated in this tool are displayed in the Balance of system & miscellaneous section of the Cost Analysis worksheet.
