Lambton College (Sarnia) and the Bluewater Sustainable Initiative are hosting an introductory RETScreen workshop on November 25, 2009. Seating is limited to 30 and will be done on a first-come first-served basis. The registration cost is $195.00 (+ GST) = $204.75 (includes continental breakfast & lunch). Cancellations or no-shows will not be entitled to a refund; however, confirmed registrants can send a substitute if unable to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop to the workshop. The RETScreen workshop will be practical and employ a hands-on approach using case studies. Participants will explore the easy-to-use tools in RETScreen and be exposed to many case studies and scenarios. Topics and areas that will be covered in this workshop include: commercial and residential energy efficiency upgrade analysis; analysis of financial payback for PV and Wind projects (small commercial scale); feasibility of Solar Thermal applications in small commercial and residential buildings. |
